Who we are
As both an author and an experienced editor, I understand the journey of bringing a book to life. Having written Bluebonnets and Grass Burrs, I know firsthand the challenges and excitement of crafting a story, refining it through editing, and successfully navigating the publishing process. Now, I want to help others achieve their own publishing success.
With a background in writing, editing, and content strategy, I have the skills to polish manuscripts, enhance storytelling, and ensure that each book is engaging, professional, and ready for publication. My experience in marketing, digital content creation, and branding also means I can help authors position their books for success in today’s competitive market.
Whether it’s developmental editing, proofreading, or guidance through the publishing process, I am committed to helping writers bring their vision to life. Every story deserves to be told—and I am here to make sure it’s told well.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in English and Religious Studies in 2013 from Mercyhurst University, which provided me with a strong foundation in language, grammar, and critical analysis. As a student at Mercyhurst, I worked in the writing center as well as served as a research assistant to Dr. Marnie Sullivan (America in the Thirties, Ecocritical Approaches to Literature in French, and “Shifting Subjects and Marginal Worlds: Revealing the Radical in Rachel Carson’s Three Sea Books”). I also provided editing services to various other faculty members during that time.
As the editor of the Lumen, the university’s Literary Arts Magazine, I not only garnered submissions from fellow students, I also managed the editorial staff and marketed extracurricular programs and events. My senior year, I served as the copy-editor of The Merciad, the student-run newspaper.
Post-graduation, I attended Gannon University studying writing until 2015.

Throughout my career, I have honed my editing and content development skills in various roles. My role as an Email Marketing & Web Circulation Assistant at VertMarkets/Jameson Publishing involved managing and refining marketing content for industry publications, requiring strong editorial oversight. My experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Mercyhurst University teaching Research and Writing afforded me further opportunity in editing and analysis, as well as offering me a chance to extend empathy in my editing.
As an Instructor of Web Design and Social Media Marketing I had to assess, refine, and improve written content while developing curriculum tailored to different audiences. During this time, I also worked extensively with Daniel de la Fe of Phoenix Pyre Publishing and published my own book Bluebonnets and Grass Burrs.
As a Marketing & eCommerce Assistant at Tank Holding Corp., I have written and edited 500+ product descriptions and multiple pieces of professional content, ensuring clarity, engagement, and SEO efficacy.

I have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of editing and proofreading to enhance clarity, accuracy, and engagement. My expertise in SEO and content strategy allows me to optimize content for digital platforms, while my background in graphic and web design (Adobe Creative Suite, web design) enhances my ability to edit multimedia content effectively.
